The 4 workshops will be run with an open access policy which means that the children and young people that access the workshops are free to come and go as they choose. Activities will be conducted in a safe and supervised environment, but Play Workers and the artists are not responsible for children and young people who leave the activity site. The Playout! workers are all CRB checked.
It is important that any parents/guardians who drop their children off to the workshop area, understands the Open Access policy. Children do not need to register for the workshops, but if parents want to leave their contact details they can.
Children under 8 should have an accompanying responsible adult who remains within the room (the room for the activities is where the café will be and if your child is happy for you to leave them with the leaders, please feel able to enjoy a coffee while they have fun).
The artists will be present for the first hour of each workshop and then the Playout! workers will take over for the last hour.
All activities are free of charge . The Oxton Artists and Playout! aim to reflect the different cultures within our community and promote equal opportunities through our activities. These workshops were made possible with a grant from Wirral Culture for all.
